Calling All Youth ages 10-22! North Fork Community Theatre is thrilled to announce Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “School of Rock” as their summer 2025 Youth on Stage production!

But wait, there's more! Throughout the year, they’re hosting multiple events to get everyone pumped up for the big show. These events are open to all youth ages 10-22 and their parents - no audition required to join in the fun!

Event #2: Karaoke Night & Concert Poster Contest

Karaoke Fun for All!

Grab the mic, pick your favorite song, and take the stage to wow the crowd! This part of the evening is all about having fun, hanging out with and making new friends, and singing your heart out in the spotlight. Everyone is welcome to join!

Concert Poster Contest

While the karaoke party is in full swing, flex your creative muscles by designing your own concert promotion poster! Supplies will be provided at the event, so you can create your masterpiece. If you’d like to get a head start, you’re welcome to brainstorm ideas and start your design at home before the event.

·       What’s at stake? A brand-new Squier Sonic Precision Bass and Fender Amp Bundle, and  1 month free lessons at School of Rock, Riverhead! (Only one prize is awarded—teams will need to share.)

·       How it works: Create your poster between 6 PM and 9 PM while enjoying the karaoke vibes. At 9 PM, posters will be collected for peer voting. After the votes are tallied, the winner will be announced on the spot!

All posters created during the event will be showcased as decorations during the summer School of Rock production.
