Passport to the North Fork: Water Pollution and Enviroscape Activity

  • Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library 27550 Main Road Cutchogue, NY, 11935 United States (map)

Part of the Passport to the North Fork event series by Peconic Baykeeper, this program, Water Pollution and Enviroscape, is geared towards elementary-aged children. In this program, attendees will explore how water pollution occurs using an interactive tabletop model that demonstrates how pollutants reach waterways. Children will be encouraged to interact with the tabletop model and make predictions about the movements of pollutants (drink mox and coffee) as they use a spray bottle to make it rain on the model. This fun and highly interactive program is free but requires registration. Register here!
