Sweet Corn Festival at Harbes Family Farm

Harbes Annual Sweet Corn Festival returns on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Celebrate the arrival of one of the best parts of a Long Island Summer – Harbes own super-sweet corn! 

Don’t miss the Corn Eating Contests which will be held in the Barnyard Adventure at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. First come, first served. Participation limited. Must purchase Barnyard Adventure admission to participate.

There will be live music in the courtyard and picnic areas both days from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, the farm welcomes Evan & James. Join this rising Long Island duo as they perform hits from the Beatles to today.  Sunday, singer/guitarist Matt Taylor will be performing versatile tunes!

While you’re there, visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! Harbes Barnyard Adventure is an 8-acre, family-friendly experience for all ages. The Barnyard admission includes a Musical Hayride tour of the 100-acre farm and the famous pig races. There are also farm animals, the popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, obstacle course, hedge maze, the musical animatronic chicken show, and much more. The family-friendly farm will also debut exciting new attractions for 2024!

Enjoy Harbes Vineyard wines in the farm’s restored 100-year-old Wine Barn. Tastings are offered and wine by the glass or bottle is available. Concession foods include roasted sweet corn, delicious tomato mozzarella paninis, a mouthwatering selection of homemade ice cream made with Harbes seasonal produce, and more!
