Kids of all ages are invited to the Great Matzah Bake-Off.
A Passover Experience Coming to the North Fork.
This Passover, Chabad is turning up the heat with the Great Matzah Bake-Off, an unforgettable event where Jewish children and families will experience the holiday of Passover in a whole new way. Beginning with a visit to the Matzah Mill, children thresh, winnow, and grind their very own flour just like our ancestors did! From there, kids will make the matzah: thin, crispy, and just the right shape. The kids will go home with the title of The Ultimate Matzah Masters! Once the flour settles, children will design their very own Afikomen Bags, gleaming with gold leaf, to make their seder tables dazzle. Passover is more than just the story of our exodus from Egypt; it’s about the enduring strength and resilience of the Jewish people. Matzah is not just a symbol of our freedom it’s the bread of faith, reminding us that when we stand united in our belief, we can overcome any challenge. This program is about empowering children to embrace their roots, stand strong in their faith, and celebrate the incredible journey of our people.
