With the opportunity to sip wine at over 60 vineyard tasting rooms across the Fork, we’ve discovered that some are more kid-friendly than others — and we totally get it. We have you covered if you plan to taste wine while your kids play or hang out nearby. Here are the details on 10 of our favorite family-friendly North Fork wineries and our take on why visiting each is just fiiiiinnneee.

Taste small-batch wine by Poppy & Rose Wine Co. at Woodside Orchards in Aquebogue. This spot checks boxes for everyone in your group: hard cider, boutique winery, apple cider doughnuts, board games, fire pits, in-season apple picking, and the list goes on.

Gathering with a large group (including kids!) at this Baiting Hollow vineyard is made easy with tons of space to spread out, plenty of food options, live music, and more. We especially love The Backyard for groups with kids. (Open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 6 p.m.)

Casual setting, stunning sunsets, and a house pizza truck?! Easy yes! Our favorite time to visit is on Fridays for this winery’s Sunset Fridays which begins on 5/17. Enjoy wine tastings, live music, and woodfired pizza until 9 p.m. every Friday throughout the summer. See you there!
