Thoughtfully woven throughout a tent and animal-free circus production, Canvas Sky, the latest output from Hideaway Circus, tells a story of self-acceptance through their contemporary performance all with the backdrop of the open, evening, North Fork sky.

This performance brings modern artistry and storytelling to classic circus traditions where circus-goers will enjoy high-flying trapeze, juggling and rings, feats of strength and grace, and more.

“Canvas Sky is the latest production from Hideaway Circus, a Brooklyn-based circus troupe made up of ten international performers,” Megan Eilers, PCS Director of Communications and Documentation for Peconic Community School, shared with us. “Canvas Sky tells the story of a circus clown making his way through a confusing world with the help of a few trusted friends through traditional circus performances and modern artistry.”

Sponsored in part by North Fork Apothecary, this circus experience welcomes adults and children of all ages to view the show which will take place in an open field on the Peconic Community School property in Cutchogue.

“Canvas Sky is a show for all ages, especially since it is outdoors in the open air, in our large back field, with plenty of room and space for wiggly ones to wiggle,” said Megan.
