North Fork United Soccer Club Indoor Soccer

With indoor locations throughout the North Fork, from Aquebogue to Greenport, and options for children of all ages (4 yr. old through High School,) there’s a soccer program for every North Fork kid. Winter Wonderland Creative Movement with Inspire Dance Centre

Start the weekend with a morning of movement at Inspire Dance Centre in Southold. In this six-week creative movement program offered on Saturdays from 9:30 to 10 a.m., children ages 2 to 3 will work on their colors, numbers, shapes, and alphabet while moving. Each session has a theme with activities, props, and songs. This program runs from Jan. 4 through Feb. 8. For more details and to register, visit here.

Storytime Yoga with Stroller Strong Kids

In this three-week series of classes presented by Stroller Strong Mamas in Mattituck, children ages 4 to 6 will discover the magic of yoga while listening to a story that encourages literacy and vibrant physical health. Beginning on Saturday, Jan. 11, and running for three consecutive Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., classes will include the following themes: Jan. 11: dinosaurs, Jan. 25: space, and Feb. 8: Frozen. Fencing and Archery Classes with East End Archery

Offered through the Town of Riverhead Recreation Department at the George Young Community Center in Jamesport, join Jennifer Murray of East End Archery for six-week sessions of fencing and archery. The sessions, which are open to residents and non-residents ages 8 to 14, begin the week of Jan. 27 and run through March 17 with no classes on Feb. 3 or 17. In the basics of archery, which runs on Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m., students will learn proper form and safety. In fencing that runs Mondays from 6 to 7 p.m., students will be taught the basics of fencing and will increase their skill level with new material each class. All equipment is provided. Toddler Time at North Fork Cheer

If you’re looking for open play where your youngest (ages 1-3) can freely and safely run and play, North Fork Cheer in Cutchogue has you covered with their Toddler Time classes on Saturday mornings from 9:15 to 10 a.m. In these sessions, children can play and explore all the gym has to offer. Parents are required to supervise. The cost is $60/month or $25/class. Register here.
