A family-friendly film series launches at The Suffolk

From musical performances and parties to screenings of some of the best flicks, The Suffolk on East Main Street in downtown Riverhead has become the North Fork’s destination for live and screened entertainment.

Filling the void of a dedicated movie theater, The Suffolk has added various film screenings to its entertainment lineup. In a newly launched Family Film Series, the theater plans to screen one family film each month throughout December.

These film events are scheduled for one Sunday per month at 5 p.m. A kid-friendly food and drink menu will be available for purchase during the film screenings. Tickets cost $15 per person.

The lineup includes Shrek on May 26, Cars on June 30, Toy Story on July 21, Finding Nemo on August 25, Monsters Inc. on September 29, Halloweentown on October 27, The Lion King on November 24, and Frozen on December 22.

The Suffolk is a cabaret-style venue rather than one with traditional theater seating. This means that patrons are seated at tables of four seats. There is also limited traditional theater-style row seating. Your ticket is specific to the table only, not to any particular seating location at that table.
