Sunday, May 26, noon - 5 p.m.

Main St., Downtown Riverhead

Head to Main Street in Downtown Riverhead for an immersive community chalk art festival presented by East End Arts. In this one-day celebration, attendees can watch artists in action and partake in family-friendly activities as live music and performances take place all around. The festival will also feature local food trucks, craft and artisan vendors, a fine arts sale, kid’s zone, and more. The event is free to attend and to participate in. More info here.

Kickoff MDW with a pizza party at Meadowlark North Fork

Celebrate MDW at this family-friendly North Fork winery where famed Roberta’s Pizza will be available for purchase. Families can wander and enjoy the winery’s many acres of native gardens. No reservations are required. 

Hang with alpacas at the Red Barn Farm Fair

A craft fair on an alpaca farm?! Sign us up. This family-friendly fair will feature vendors, crafts, snacks, and a nature trail to visit the alpacas. Enjoy snacks, treats, and a kids’ coloring station in a serene, natural setting. There is no cost for admission.

Watch racecars zoom by at Riverhead Raceway

Buckle up, families for an evening of racing fun! This thrillingly fast and loud experience is like no other on the Fork where you’ll view nearly 10 different races. Hang at the silo at Oregon Road Organics season opener celebration
